I made the snowflake snow globe earlier this week, but I'm not quite ready for winter decor here.. so I thought I would attempt modifying it to a fall design. My biggest lesson tonight? Do not use Close to My Heart paper for these - stick to plain that does not have a white core, and that IS the same color on both sides. :-) I started with a paid file, found here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/480696134/snow-globe-classic-red-truck-template SLICE OUT ALL THE SNOWFLAKES First I removed the snowflakes. To do this was simple, I added a circle using the shape tool, sized it to fit in the center, and slice. Repeat with each of the snowflake pieces, and with the trees. After slicing out the trees, I wanted to add some solid to the bottom of that circle, so I added a rectangle, and welded it. This is a good time to go through and delete all of the extra items from the svg. The snow, the christmas tree, etc. SAVE AS BLANK SNOW GLOBE At this point I chose "Save AS" and saved
